We believe that no facet of society, including the economic, can flourish without a change in political culture that comes from below , i.e. from society at large. Engaged Democracy Initiative (EDI)<\/h3>\n

The Moise Palace<\/h3>\n

A venue and forum for various scientific and research activities, our center can welcome visiting students and artists wishing to withdraw for a moment to a serene and inspiring collaboration setting. In fact, the Moise Palace already is a study haven for those whose intentions are to conduct scientific and artistic work while enjoying the island\u2019s pristine nature. The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Regional Dialogue Southeast Europe and the Institute for Democratic Engagement Southeast Europe (IDESE) 2018 jointly initiated the ,,Think Engaged: Academia in Dialogue\u201c series.<\/p>\n

\u201eThink Engaged:\u00a0<\/strong>Academia in Dialogue<\/strong>\u201c series aimes at bringing together representatives of academia, civil society, local initiatives and the wider public to discuss the most pressing issues for the wider region of Southeast Europe. The series combines academic insights into topics of societal importance (such as democracy, participation, education, reconciliation, political engagement, far right, etc.) with interventions by civil society representatives, practitioners and media resulting in a unique mix of thinking and crafting solutions for challenges of the region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
